Early sunday mornings, traffic is relatively easy to non-existent. Later on the same stretch of road starts filling up with cars and cyclists alike.
You can have all kinds of conditions there and yet you are meeting the same road, the same kilometres of asphalt over and over again. While you might be thinking that all along the dyke is just a plain, straight stretch of road - do not let that fool you. The road is taking its slight turns and that is where the wind gets you.
But as much as revisiting the road may seem boring and repetitive it actually is not. With the weather ever changeing, even on a soft day, you have new conditions every single time. And when you know the road like a good old friend you can finally adjust according to the circumstances.
